Can I get a free trial class?
Yes, of course. We can make an appointment for you to join one of our current groups. We have a transparent system and you will be able to experience how we teach, meet the teachers and members of your group, check out the materials used and all the great facilities at our premises.
Can I check out the Online English Campus?
Yes. During your trial class you will be given access to our English Online Campus and view thousands of activities, practice exercises, videos, listening materials and use the online dictionary. You get many other benefits such as progress reports, your personal word lists ,together with messaging access to your teacher.
If I join, how long do I get access to the Online English Campus?
It remains valid for as long as you study with us and you can use it anywhere 24/7.
I’m not sure of my language level so which class is suitable?
Our free assessment is done online and will place you in the correct level group. If you feel you should move your class level, we’ll be happy to discuss with you and your teacher. There are no extra fees for changing class. Every student progresses at different speeds so we keep our system flexible.
How many other students in the group?
Each group is between a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 8 students.
Can I change class if I progress quickly?
Yes of course ! We never hold back people progressing quickly and there are no charges for changing to a higher level group.
How old do I have to be?
At least 18.
Do you teach children?
Not at this time. Everyone has to be at least 18 or older
Are there any exams?
There’s a weekly progress test and you’ll discuss how you’re doing with your teacher. We help to organise Cambridge Examination dates for students taking KET, PET, FCE and IELTS
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. We issue an internal Capital Class certificate for successful completion at each level.
What if I want to take Cambridge English exams or similar?
We assist everyone who wants to take formal exams. We do not charge fees for assisting and we’re happy to help.
What are the facilities like at Capital Class?
Fantastic! Superb classrooms and a wonderful learning environment. We’re only 100m from Liverpool Street tube with other train stations and several bus services nearby. There are smart communal area’s, wi-fi access, free refreshments and the local area is bustling with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Is there a long term contract?
No. We don’t tie you up with long contracts and you can choose to study from one to four weeks at a time. That means you can choose to study for as long as it suits you.
We’re very confident you’ll enjoy your time with us and for those that extend and continue or return a little later, we’re always delighted to meet you again.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. There’s no deposit to pay.
Can you help me to get a visa to stay in the UK?
No. We do not offer any type of visa assistance and all our students are already legally here in the UK.
There are no arrangements or systems for obtaining UK visas at Capital Class.
How do I apply?
Simple. Just complete the online form and send it in. Please also request a free trial class and we’ll be delighted to greet you at Capital Class.
If I need to leave the group, can I get a refund?
Please see our refund policy. In most cases applicants join for 1-4 weeks at a time and unless there are exceptional circumstances, there is no refund.
